Comprehensive Oral Exams

Comprehensive oral exams are vital to dental health. Children and adults should schedule a comprehensive oral exam every six months.

These exams typically include digital dental x-rays of the teeth and jaw to assess for dental caries, bone loss, etc. The exam also includes a thorough cleaning of tooth surfaces; all tartar build-up is scraped from the tooth and gum line and teeth are polished.

Doctors discuss x-rays with each patient. If further treatments are recommended, Dr. Frith will explain the plan and the staff will schedule any additional appointments.
