Perio Protect

Patients who have been diagnosed with advanced periodontal disease or periodontitis might be candidates for a procedure offered by Masterpiece Smiles called Perio Protect.

This procedure involves fitting the patient with a tray that holds medication against the teeth and gum line; this medication penetrates deep into the gum tissue to help fight the infection. Perio Protect can slow the severity of periodontitis and keep the disease from progressing to the point of tooth loss.
