Invisalign and Other Clear Aligners

Invisalign is an alternative to standard metal braces that use brackets and wires to reposition teeth and move them into alignment. Invisalign offers a much more comfortable solution for a straighter smile; Invisalign and clear aligners are molded and customized for the smile of each patient. The molded forms look similar to clear retainers and are placed over the teeth to move them into alignment. New Invisalign molds are designed to increase the movement and further align the smile.

Invisalign can be removed when the patient is eating. However, patients will be instructed by Dr. Frith about the length of time the aligners need to remain in place each day to ensure that the treatment is successful.

How much do Invisalign and other aligners cost? There is a range depending on the type of aligner used and treatment time. Not every patient is an ideal candidate for Invisalign. Some orthodontic cases are more extensive and require traditional braces to move the teeth into proper alignment.
