Top-Tier Technologies and Treatments

Top Dentist Award - Masterpiece Smiles

Masterpiece Smiles integrates industry-leading technologies in the care of its patients to improve patient safety and provide better and less invasive treatments. Our doctors understand that technology leads to a better dental experience and improved dental outcomes.

Digital x-rays help capture the teeth in jaw in clear images and aids diagnosis. These images help Dr. Frith identify signs of problems and ensures that small problems do not evolve into more serious issues.

CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) Radiograph is a 3D x-ray that is able to help to better access the jaw, TMJ and airway.

Laser therapies are cutting-edge tools that are used to treat a variety of dental concerns. We have a variety of lasers with different functions used for different purposes. Some lasers are cutting lasers to remove extra gum tissues.

Other lasers are non-cutting and used to promote healing and soothe tissues. One laser is designed to help tone the tissue (non-cutting) to decrease snoring called NightLase, and in a different mode increases collagen growth in the face non-surgically called SoothLase, NeckLase, or Smooth Eye.

One laser has healing properties called Biostimulation (aka LLLT) Low-Level Laser / Light Therapy or photomodulation that often helps decrease pain instantly and promote areas to continue healing after the treatment.

Another laser is used to help detect cavities that can not be detected by the eye or instruments (similar to LiDAR technology - laser light detection and ranging). Like radar, it's a technology for determining what's out there. While radar systems emit radio waves and measure what bounces back, LiDAR uses light waves.
